Friday, August 05, 2005 -Boogeyman-If you think you're safe under the covers, You're wrong! There's nothing worse than any other. Death is waiting there and then, for you to get eaten by 'the Boogeyman!' In your bed, fast asleep, When you don't even wink or peep. It's then you'll hear a tune he hums......... It's him. and here he comes........ Hallucinations cross your dreams, you start to hear the sound of screams, painfully screaming in your ears. You start to fail to hide your tears. Suicidal thoughts inside your head. Somehow you know-it's somthing you dread. There's horror lurking under your bed. You hear a thumping, nightly brawl. That echo's and causes your skin to crawl. A sudden terrifying gloom. And you know there's somthing in your room. The temperature is freezing cold, now you know, your soul is sold. Terror makes you start to freck. The hairs stand on the back of your neck. The lights go out, then he appears. You tremble yourself to tears. You try to scream, but it fails to come out. It's the Boogeyman! - there's no doubt. His thorn-like fingers clutch your skin. You can't breathe, the air turns thin. He opens wide, his sharp teeth stained red. He Gobbles you up -right off your bed. A whisp of smoke, and just like that. No one knows where he's at. He smacks his lips in pure delight. then proclaims- 'That's filled my tummy for tonight." Poem by Katz Kathy Anne Lim
