Sunday, July 11, 2004 I know at times your worriedAnd at times your scared, But I promise you no matter what i will always be there. Whenever you need to cry Or just want to vent, I will cry with you or Just sit back and listen. I wish that I could numb your pain And lift this burden from your shoulders. If you were to leave, Who would I get drunk with when I'm older? I truly believe that God sent you to me To keep me from leaving too soon. Who would I be without my best friend? It'd be like the sun without its moon. Tonight I almost lost you And never have I been so afraid. Never before in my life Have I more deeply prayed. I know there's still so much to go through, And four years won't go by that fast. Courage hangs by a thread, But i'll still remember those words you've said. But I promise you we will survive.
